August 22, 2011

Hey eveyone how´s it going?

We´ve made it to the final week of the transfer here in Heredia. Next week you´ll hear from me on Wednesday the 31st.

So this has been one of the longer transfers in my mission, but definitely the one where I learned the most. I´m very grateful to be where I´m at and I wouldn´t trade the experiences I´m having for anything.

Well there´s not too much to report this week. I feel bad because there was a couple funny things that happened but they´re not coming to me right now. I need to be more prepared when I write home haha

Today we have been in San Jose all day tying to work out some civil papers for a couple we´re trying to marry soon. (Not the most fun pday). Their names are Eric and Esmeralda, and we found them last Sunday contacting in the street. He was actually baptized in Nicarauga and now they live together here.

You find those situations a lot because many people are baptized in Nicaragua and then come to Costa Rica to find work or for family reasons. It´s very similar to the U.S. and Mexican immigrants.

They are kind'of our last hope for baptizing this final week in August. We are also still meeting with Gilbert, but he´s been super busy of late.

Anyways I´m sorry to be short again but my time is up. I love you guys very much!
